SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

Department of Education (previously Lingaya's College of Education) was established in the year 2006. The Department of Education offers B.Ed., M.Ed. approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Ph.D. (Education) and has experienced, research focused and dedicated faculty members. The emphasis is laid on all round development of prospective teacher and teacher-educators. Well equipped laboratories, rich library and modernized IT facilities etc. are the unique features of the department. So Initially the name was Department of Education later on from September 2014 understands the new courses been added to the portfolio the nomenclature was changed to School of Education with different courses been offered like B.Ed,M.Ed,B.AB.Ed,B.ScB.Ed and Doctorate Courses.The duration of B.Ed and M.Ed courses is 2 years.

It is a great privilege to serve as HOD and Associate Professor of Lingaya's Vidyapeeth , School of Education and welcome you to an institute whose vision is excellence in training programmes as we pursue academic,technical and quality education with excellence in overall development of our students.

The faculty is the backbone of our Institute I, personally believe that value based learning has far greater relevance in a dynamic work environment. We ensure that our students share a special relationship with the institution. We offer faculty guidance and a very caring and nurturing environment.

Since education is a tripolar process, involving teacher, pupil and learning environment. In this era of cut throat competition, it is of paramount importance to orient teacher training with new technologies, regulations and developments.
