ABOUT THE LU-MSU TWINNING PROGRAMME

Lingaya University (LU) has signed an MOU with Michigan State University (MSU) for conducting undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Construction Management. The School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University and the School of Architecture at Lingaya's University have established a General Agreement to foster international cooperation in education and research.

a)  Exchange of materials in education and research, publications, and academic information

b)   Exchange of faculty and research scholars
c)  Joint research and meetings for education and research

d)   Technical assistance
e)  Student exchanges (student exchanges require additional forms)
f)    Creation and marketing of electronic instruction media, including credit and non-credit courses

Following programmes are offered under the “Twinning Programme” scheme, under which students can complete half of  the residency programme in LU (India) and remaining half in MSU (USA):

1. BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT)

The School offers a 2 year programme leading to GRADUATE DEGREE in CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT.

2. MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT)
The School offers a 2 year programme leading to POST GRADUATE DEGREE in CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT.

Board. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination in English.

Minimum 50 % or more in 10+2 examination from a recognized
Board with physics, chemistry and mathematics as subjects.
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination in
English. Admissions would be on the basis of AIEEE ranking.

Master of Urban and Regional Planning

Full Time: Two years
Part time: Three years (weekend classes)

Minimum 50 % or more at Bachelor’s level in Planning,
Architecture, Civil engineering, Geography, Economics, Sociology or Statistics from a recognized University.

Master of Technology (Construction
Management)

With an option of one
year at MSU (USA)
for dual degree.

Full time and Part time

Minimum 50 % or more at Bachelor’s level in Construction
Management, Architecture or Civil engineering from a recognized University.
The candidate should have a valid TOEFL score at the time of
2nd year for those interested in pursuing dual degree program at
Michigan State University.

For those who go to MSU in the Second year, the fee payable would be as per MSU fee structure and norms and half the first year fees would be payable to LU. The degree awarded would be dual degree from MSU and LU.

Mode of Fee Payment:

The above mentioned Fee can be deposited/ paid through Demand Draft/ Pay order in favour of “Lingaya’s University Admission Fee Account” Payable at Delhi/ Faridabad. The Fee can also be deposited in any CBS Branch of Bank of India in the A/c No. 6703 2011 0000 280, Bank IFSC Code BK1D0006703 in the name of “Lingaya’s University Admission Fee Account”. The Fee once paid is non-refundable/ non-tranferable.

Note: Due to inflation, the fees may be increased every year, but it would not be more than 5%.
