Department of Education

The Department of Education was set up to meet the growing demand of quality teachers in the country. The Department provides state-of ?the- art academic environment and lays great emphasis on the development of prerequisite teaching skills for 21^st century hi-tech class room teaching methodology. The methods adopted in the process of curriculum transaction are highly innovative and helpful in the development of teaching potential of the teacher trainees. It specializes in Educational Philosophy, Educational Psychology. Work Education and Work Experience are the integral part of various activities designed for overall development of the trainees.

The Department has highly qualified & experienced faculty as per the requirement of National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

The Department is headed by Prof. (Dr). LALIT KUMAR SAGAR who has a rich experience of 15 years in the field of teacher education.

The 1 Year Bachelor of Education course is recognized by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

INNOVATIVE PRACTICES

• To enhance the teaching skill of the students the department deputes the students to different schools for Teaching Practice. It is a highly individualized training conducted in laboratory conditions for growth of teaching potential of the trainees.
• As the teachers have to be acquainted with all the activities conducted in the schools and keeping this in view the Department endeavors to provide opportunities to develop the prerequisite organizing skills for the smooth conduct of Co-curricular activities at school level. It enhances the sense of belongingness and team spirit.
